Suggested Schedule

In order to help alleviate boredom and keep kids on track in school, I suggest coming up with a schedule for your child to keep the days rolling. Here is a suggested schedule that will be sure kids have enough time for their school work, and much needed movement time:
  • 7-7:30   Get up/breakfast/ get dressed / exercise, etc.
  • 8:15      Chore time
  • 9:30      Academic Hour 1
  • 10:30    Break
  • 11am    Academic Hour 2
  • 12pm    Lunch
  • 1pm      Playtime/Free Time / Finish Chores / Get Active

Of course, these schedules don't have to be rigid, but at least a guideline to follow. I did this with my daughter (and myself) and it helped us be productive.
